Episode 7 - DCA Expansion

- Nate commented that the first ideas for expansion at Disneyland that featured another gate was WestCot; a theme park with an international flair and a focus on technology. - Toy Story Midway Mania opened on at DCA on June 17, 2008.

- The entrance plaza will be rethemed as Buena Vista street. Check out this link to see some of the concept art.

- The Carthay Circle Theater will be the icon at the end of the entrance area, based on the theater that premiered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937.

- A Red Car trolley will be added to Buena Vista Street and Hollywoodland. These is the first vehicles

- A new nighttime spectacular will be added to Paradise Pier known as the Wonderful World of Color.

- A Little Mermaid boat attraction will be added to the Paradise Pier section of the park.

- Carland will have many attractions; Radiator Springs Racers based on the same technology as Test Track, Luigi's Roamin' Tires like the Flying Saucers of 1960's Disneyland, a new restaurant like the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater Restautant.


Episode 6: Future World Pavilions Show Notes

- The Land Pavilion was redone in 2005 as apart of Disneyland's 50th Anniversary, in which Soarin' was added. The 19 month event kicked off on May 5, 2005. It was celebrated in every Disney theme park. Also added during the celebration to Walt Disney World were Cinderellabration and Lights, Motors, Action Stunt show.

- Test Track was originally slated to open in the Spring of 1997, but was delayed for over a year and half due to technically difficulty relating to the speed of the cars. Currently it is the fastest attraction at Walt Disney World reaching speeds over 60 miles per hour.

- The Imagination Pavilion opened on March 3, 1983 and has been through three different incarnations. The original was over 16 minutes long and featured the Dreamfinder and Figment prominently. It closed in October of 1998. The second lasted only two years was met was controversy. Some of this came from the fact that Figment and The Dreamfinder were almost completely removed. The third version opened in 2002 with a return of Figment as well as the "One Little Spark" song.

- Mission Space opened in June of 2003 at the former location of Horizons which closed in 1999 after being open only seasonally since 1994. Mission Space features a motion simulator thrill attraction. The pavilion was a pseudo sequel to The Carousel of Progress attraction at the Magic Kingdom.

Episode 5 - Star Tours 2.0 Show Notes

- Epcot Center was renamed Epcot 95 in 1995
- Star Tours was rumored to get a update in 1999 with the release of Star Wars Episode 1 based on the pod racer sequence of the film
- Star Tours opened in Disneyland in 1987 and at the then Disney MGM/Studios in 1991.
- Star Wars Weekends February of 1997. On the show Nate mentioned that it was the Spring of 1997. It wasn't Spring, he was jus confused because he was in Florida, and it felt like Spring. However the Star Wars Weekends didn't return until May of 2000.
- The estimated population of California is 36 million.
