On this episode Matt and Nate discuss the return to the Town Square style entrance plaza when constructing the Disney MGM Studios in the 1980's. In looking at this we discuss:
- The original Town Square - The idea of a town square served both a functional and design purpose for Disneyland and we go into the
- Why Hollywood - As one of America's newer megalopolis' we trace the beginnings of Hollywood and how southern California became the entertainment capital of the US
- The real world and design inspiration for many of the buildings in the entrance plaza. - This is makes up the bulk of the show where we look at the influences behind four structures in Disney Hollywood Studios entrance plaza
